AFTER THE FUNERAL

Send a general acknowledge to thank the people who attended the service or anyone who showed a special kindness. Your associated funeral director can help you to draft this up for the Newspaper or you can send individual thank you notes.

If you haven’t already done so, you can obtain original copies of the death certificate from your local registry office, which is required for a variety of legal and financial purpose i.e. notifying the deceased’s bank and closing any accounts, closing insurance policies or any share schemes.
